The Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT) has announced a collaboration with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy to discuss how OTs and physiotherapists are working together to combat Long Covid.

The free webinar, taking place on 22 July, will hear from occupational therapists and physiotherapists from the Long Covid clinic at Leeds Community Healthcare Trust.

Opportunities will be available to pose general questions to professional advisers from both the CSP and RCOT.

Lauren Walker, RCOT Professional Adviser, said: “We know that collaborative, multi-disciplinary approaches are key to helping people manage Long COVID, and there are some great examples of occupational therapists and physiotherapists working together to combine their unique skills in Long COVID clinics and rehab services.

“I’m looking forward to contributing to this event alongside colleagues from the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and Leeds Community Healthcare Trust, and encourage RCOT members to join us.”
