Warrington Disability Partnership will not be holding its rescheduled Disability Awareness Day 2020 event after it announced its cancellation.
The celebrations will be online-only after the charity made the difficult decision to call off its 29th annual event due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The day was originally scheduled for 12 July at Walton Hall and Gardens, Warrington, Cheshire.
However, the charity rescheduled for 27 September, back in late March, as the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown took hold.
A report in the Warrington Guardian stated that the new virtual event will utilise innovative technology to allow e-visitors to tour the event’s stalls.
This feature will reportedly be launched in October.
