The campaign to have Changing Places facilities installed across the UK has been given a strong boost after the issue was raised with the Prime Minister at PMQs this week.
MPs brought the disabled toilets to Theresa May’s attention who is being pressured to get on board with the campaign.
Changing Places facilities have more specialist equipment than traditional disabled toilets and feature things like hoists, grab rails and a changing bench.
There are now more than 1,000 Changing Places toilets registered in the UK but the campaign is pushing for more.
