Ableworld Southampton has achieved three milestones in recent weeks in what were firsts for the retail business – and one of which was a first for the industry.

The South Coast dealer was unveiled as the Ableworld’s best performing franchise business at the retail group’s annual conference recently.

Shortly following the announcement, the mobility firm achieved a new weekly sales record which was the highest ever total across the Ableworld franchise network.

Ableworld Southampton then became the first retail site in the country to have a Stiltz Homelift installed in-store, allowing customers to experience the equipment first hand.

The retail group recently achieved the highest level in Stiltz Homelifts’ three-tier dealer programme after completing a training course at the supplier’s headquarters in the West Midlands.

As a Stiltz Homelifts Premier Partner it is now able to take control of the purchase process from marketing through to sales and installation.

Last year, Ableworld Southampton launched a new stairlift showroom in partnership with Handicare and a new educational facility, where firms are able to host professionals and therapists.

Stairlift manager Steven Newman, who runs the business alongside his father, said on social media: “So proud of our team and all the hard work they have put in delivering outstanding customer service and offering mobility products at value for money prices.”
