Training event seeks to help equipment providers collaborate with professionals

Scandinavian-inspired mobility supplier Etac R82 is hoping its new training sessions will boost collaboration between equipment providers and professionals such as physiotherapists and OTs.

The supplier hosted its first Seating Assessment Training (SATs) recently which was designed to help delegates develop their knowledge of seating principles and problem solving solutions.

It offers the opportunity for collaboration between therapists and equipment providers so that individual therapy needs can be met.

The programme is hosted by Joanne McConnell, OT, clinical manager and mobility and pressure care specialist at Etac R82, and Helena Poulton, highly specialist OT.

The first session was fully attended and delivered an engaging and rewarding educational experience for attendees, according to the company.
