Mobility dealer TPG DisableAids has appointed Tom Bates as an extra sales assessor following continued business growth and some additional housing association contracts.

Tom joins the business from the construction industry and has previously served with the armed forces.

Commenting on his appointment, Tom said: “After spending over a decade in the construction and home improvement sector I decided that it was time for a new challenge.

“Bearing in mind my past role was heavily customer focused, I decided that this was an element I enjoyed and would ideally like to retain.

“After experiencing the need for disabled aids within the family, my interest was sparked by the sheer dedication of the team that helped provide my grandfather with the right equipment for his needs.

“Jump forward 12 months and I now find myself with the Family at TPG eager to learn and excited to help.”

Tom (pictured right) was welcomed to the business by managing director Alastair Gibbs.
