Sussex police appeal for witnesses in mobility scooter incident

Sussex Police are asking witnesses to come forward to give evidence about a collision between a mobility scooter and a car in Eastbourne.

The mobility scooter incident took place at 10:20am, January 25, and saw an 81-year-old man, the rider of the scooter, taken to hospital.

The man was released from hospital following treatment, while the 57-year-old woman driving the car was unhurt.

Police are hopeful that witnesses may be able to describe the incident, or even have dashcam footage.
