Snowdrop Independent Living has made a move into the midlands, opening three new showrooms.

Taking its first step outside of Wales, the new shops in Brierley Hill, Wolverhampton and Hall Green were previously owned by Hearing & Mobility/Keep Able.

The company was keen to highlight how the move doesn’t mean its local knowledge isn’t as strong as it is in South Wales shops.

Commenting, company chairman Kevin Bounds, said: “When the opportunity to acquire the stores arose, we met with the all of the existing staff and were very impressed that they shared the Snowdrop values of enthusiasm, product knowledge and a desire to do the right thing by our customers.

Adding: “This convinced us that this was an opportunity well worth pursuing and that they were solid foundations in place for us to grow and develop the business further.”

The company went on to confirm that on top of providing its Midlands customers with the high levels of care Snowdrop’s customers expect, it will be using its additional knowledge and expertise to develop the product range and services even further.

It detailed how it is keen to take some of the products introduced across South Wales to a whole new community of people.

David Morgan, managing director, said: “We see this as an opportunity to reinvigorate these three branches in the West Midlands and use the experience within Snowdrop along with the local enthusiasm to build a valuable additional asset to our business.”
