Mobility manufacturer Qimova is targeting the UK’s mobility retailers with a powechair range it believes “sells itself” thanks to a number of features.
The Danish supplier, which stocks equipment in the UK, has a number of exclusive territories still available for a select few mobility dealers.
It wants to expand its network of retailers to reach more consumers with its bespoke, made-to-measure powerchairs.
The equipment, Qimova said, has very good comfort and pressure relief properties. The modular systems include manual models to fully powered and offer interchangeable seating and ‘limitless’ adjustability.
Comfort has been one of Qimova’s main focuses in the R&D process and has become a USP for the manufacturer.
The company said it offers loan stock when required, full manufacturer’s support including help with assessments, a full marketing package and leads supplied directly to partners.
Sales director Ashley Griffiths said: “We of course give full and on-going training to all our dealers. We are very happy to do joint assessments until they feel completely confident in their ability to prescribe our wheelchairs.
“Our wheelchair range is designed and manufactured in Denmark to the highest standards and with a maximum weight limit of 230kg as standard, it has to be extraordinarily durable and resilient.”
