Police had to stop a mobility scooter on the A5 between Shrewsbury and Telford earlier this week.
In a tweet, Shrewsbury Police condemned the user and reminded other users of the potential dangers of driving on busy roads.
The tweet reads: “@ShrewsburyCops would like to remind people that mobility scooters, and fast roads such as the A5 Shrewsbury to Wellington, are not a great combination.”
A report from local news outlet, the Shropshire Star, explained how officers saw the scooter at around 8.20pm on Tuesday evening before it was pulled over.
A recovery truck was soon called to transport it and the driver to a safe location.
