PMG postpones conference to July next year citing COVID-19 uncertainties

PMG has postponed its conference until July 2021, citing uncertainties surrounding COVID-19 as the reason.

It was set for November in Telford and while the date has been changed the venue will remain the same.

Organisers explained that for those who want to register at 2020 prices, it can still be done by booking before the extended Early Bird deadline of October 1, 2020.

When bookings re-open in the New Year, the Early Bird price will have increased to reflect the higher venue charges PMG will be paying.

PMG says its annual conference provides an educational programme, industry exhibition and networking events for professionals working in the field of posture and wheeled mobility.

The majority of delegates are occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation engineers and clinical scientists working within the NHS wheelchair services or for manufacturers/distributors of posture and mobility products, with a smaller, but significant, number working in other NHS departments, the charitable sector, for local authorities, or independently.

The event focuses on the posture and mobility needs of wheelchair users and, as such, is beneficial for all professionals working in this field.

Much of the content provided is also transferrable to other complex seating needs, and therefore we welcome professionals working within the community, whose focus is not exclusively wheelchairs.
