Etac R82 has hailed the recent Posture Mobility Group Conference as a success for the company, which received high numbers of healthcare practitioners.
The PMG annual conference provided education, a product exhibition and networking opportunities for professionals working in the field of posture and wheeled mobility.
Etac’s Star air cell cushions delivered a particular highlight following Jo McConnell’s (OT and Etac education manager) conference and seminar presentation, the company said.
McConnell said: “PMG was a very positive show for Etac R82 with significant interest in our adult and paediatric products, particularly Star cushions. My pressure management presentation in the main auditorium focused on the unique differences with Star and why these air cell cushions are clinically proven.
“I highlighted the advanced stability achievable with Starlock for posture readjustment and their facilitation of complete pressure off load to allow tissue healing.
“Many delegates joined us on our stand to witness the Star range in action and to learn effective application for individual client needs. They were also keen to gain details of our free seating workshops.”
The diversity of content on the stand was enhanced by the presence of Newlife, the disabled children’s charity. R82 supplies paediatric buggies to Newlife for its emergency equipment loan service to children who are at significant risk of injury or in urgent need because of shortened life expectancy.
Representatives from the charity explained this unique service to delegates and also highlighted the charity’s equipment grant scheme.
