PCSO comes to the rescue for pensioner on broken down mobility scooter

A Police Community Support Officer came to the rescue after an elderly lady’s mobility scooter broke down.

The incidence had unfortunately left the pensioner stranded.

However, as reported by the Clacton and Frinton Gazette, a local PCSO was on patrol when he came across the local resident.

PCSO Lloyd and DC Baldwin managed to get the woman back into safety and arranged for a taxi to take her home.

The two officers then arranged for a recovery truck to come and pick up the lady’s mobility scooter and drop it off at her property.

Mobility scooter incidents have featured heavily in AMP’s news this month.

Last week, burglary suspects fled the scene of a suspected crime on a mobility scooter.
