Panasonic is debuting a number of its new products in the mobility and robotics arena GITEX Technology Week 2020 this week.
Panasonic Marketing Middle East & Africa (PMMAF) is showcasing its smart mobility solutions at Dubai World Trade Centre from 6-10 December.
Panasonic is partnering with Etisalat to bring smart solutions focusing on health, tapping into 5G, AI, robotics and IoT technologies.
One such solution is an autonomous wheelchair, PiiMO, that features object recognition, autonomous driving, and controls via an app.
Another is the ATOUN MODEL Y, a high-tech wearable power assist suit that alleviates work-induced burden on the waist for people.
Hidetoshi Kaneko, director and division head of system solutions and communications division, PMMAF, said: “Today, automated vehicles, machine vision, artificial intelligence, sensors, and software are eliminating time-consuming and hands-on human functions, as well as empowering people of determination to seamlessly traverse and participate equally in workplaces.
