The OT Show has struck an agreement with one of the UK’s largest mobility suppliers which will lead the show’s education programme.
Invacare, which specialises in home healthcare and safe patient handling, has been announced as the show’s education partner for the exhibition in November at the NEC.
Invacare has been involved in the manufacture of safe patient handling products for more than 30 years. It offers a range of non-complex, cost effective solutions that have been designed to provide safety, comfort and independence for clients, families and carers.
Lisa Cook, marketing manager for Invacare’s Lifestyle products, explained why supporting this event is an important alliance for the company.
She said: “Invacare has a long-standing commitment to education and training, with a particular emphasis on promoting safety for carers and independence for clients. The OT Show’s approach is closely aligned to Invacare’s in terms of providing industry appropriate, high quality training to key groups of Healthcare Professionals.
“We are delighted to be able to offer delegates, within our sponsored seminar theatre, training on core aspects of safe patient handling.”
At this fully CPD-certified event, delegates will have the opportunity to experience Invacare products, including, several brand new products, which will launch at the show.
