Opera launches new rotating chair bed range to encourage independence

RotoBed

Opera, a supplier of beds and mattress to the UK care sector, has launched a new range of rotating chair beds to encourage independence and enhance quality of life.

Inspired by Danish furniture designer, Hans Sadgren Jakobsen, the Rotobed can be transformed from a lying position to an upright chair, whilst supporting the user in a smooth motion.

The bed can also be specified at a fixed height or with electric height adjustment to ease access and facilitate nursing.

“With a big focus on addressing the needs of its users, the Rotobed is designed to enable independence and restore freedom,” Opera said.

“It is easily one of the most advanced and feature-rich rotating chair beds in the world.”

The Rotobed range is manufactured in Denmark to exacting standards and are supported by a five-year warranty.

Users can personalise their chair bed with fabric, colour, handset and accessory options, including wireless control and under bed lighting.
