Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare has reported record numbers of customers using it online ordering facility.
The company has detailed how sales on the site have increased over 60% on the previous year.
Al Sullivan, Drive’s marketing manager for the retail division, said the team were pleased to see the growth.
He explained: “We’re delighted that more and more retail customers are choosing to order online with us and that sales processed through the site continues to grow.
“It’s great that customers are frequently using the website and are enjoying the benefits of placing their orders online.”
While Gemma Parkinson of Assurance Trading, added: “We use the Drive website most days, it enables us to see if stock is available and we can use it to order anytime, including over the weekend.”
“I also find it quicker to order online and it seems that the products generally arrive sooner. We also get an order number straight away for us to log on our accounting system.”
Highlighting further examples of mobility retailers giving their thoughts on the system, Tricia Armitage of Meanwood Mobility told Drive: “I prefer to use online ordering because I can confirm stock availability and prices, plus I can view my order history, making it easier and faster to re-order. It also enables me to see what I have spent and if I will get free delivery on that order.”
Al Sullivan went on to explain how the company is delighted how the development work put in since the launch is now helping retailers.
He concluded: “The website has come a long way since launch, we continue to develop and update the online ordering facility in order to improve service and the customer experience we provide.
We constantly look to develop and add new features to attract and engage our customers; last year we launched the Online Clearance Offers, I’m pleased to say it was well received and continues to be popular.”
