The Scottish Health Service Centre (SHSC) is tomorrow hosting a live webinar meeting for the top minds in healthcare to discuss how best to foster innovation in the sector in the coming years.

The event from SHSC, part of NHS Scotland, will kick off at 10am and run until 1pm tomorrow (Thursday, 4 March 2021).

It will pose the question: “How can we support innovators to move their ideas into actionable services that benefit patients in 2021?”

It hopes to address how businesses can innovate and contribute to healthcare in the aftermath of Brexit and the pandemic.

Those interested can register for the event on the SHSC website.

The meeting will be chaired by David Crossman, chief scientist for health and social care in Scotland.

UK and Scottish Government leaders will share ideas with clinical and industry leaders, and provide an update on plans to remobilise and recover the economy and NHS and social care services.

There will also be the opportunity to hear from Scotland’s clinical leaders in innovation on what the NHS and Social Care need in 2021/22, and where there are opportunities to collaborate now.
