The AGM for the three organisations that merger to create the Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire CCG is set to go ahead next month.
A report from the Swindon Advertiser explained that it will be used to reflect on that past twelve months.
Held over Zoom on September 10, members of the public can attend and see the official presentation of the financial accounts.
Chief executive Tracey Cox said: “It’s a great shame that our first AGM as this new organisation has to take place in a virtual environment, but it’s hugely important to us that we take this time, so our community has the opportunity to join us in reflecting on what was an historic year for the local NHS.”
Adding: “This retrospective look back on the three former CCGs of Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire is a chance to celebrate our achievements, but also acknowledge the challenges that occurred throughout 2019 and the early part of 2020.
“Most importantly, the AGM is a chance for our public to put their questions to us directly and while we know many questions will relate to the impact coronavirus has had on local healthcare, we hope our answers will be able to provide some context and reassurance.”
