Kymco’s newly-released Komfy scooter range has drawn on the motor arm of its business and features a front suspension that resembles the system the company uses on its ATV and quad bikes.
The newly designed Komfy 4 and Komfy 8 scooters were previewed to dealers at Naidex last month where they were met with a positive response, according to the supplier.
Kymco said the entry-level scooters were built using a ‘customer-centric design brief’, utilising modern technologies and practical solutions to provide comfort, ergonomics and ease-of-use.
At the heart of the new Komfy is an adjustable mono-shock rear suspension system that was developed to give users better ride quality.
TheKomfy is designed to offer customers good comfort and the supplier said that dealers have responded well to this element of the equipment.
The new Komfy 4 & Komfy 8 both have a range of features that users would expect from modern designs.
These include a 500 watt, four pole motor, a back lit USB charging system, bright, low-power LEDs, aluminium wheels and a range ofup to 25 miles in range.
