Safespaces, a provider of custom-made safe rooms, has announced a new partnership with Danish hoist supplier Ergolet, which will see it offer leading hoist solutions to its customers.
Ergolet’s Mobile Flexlift 3000 Gantry Hoist has been brought into Safespace’s fold, which will allow clients the option of a simple and functional lifting system designed for permanent or temporary use, with a lifting capacity up to 275kg.
The hoist can be easily and simply fitted, used and removed. The gantry is easy to assemble and no tools are required to adjust the height and width. Adjusting the height is carried out in just a few seconds providing immediate use for the carer and client. The telescopic tracks give enough lifting height to provide solutions that are suitable for most care rooms and most transfer situations.
The new deal will see Safespaces extend its position as one of the leading providers of safe rooms and sleep areas for use at home, in schools, and for respite care or holidays. Ergolet’s system is the latest move in Safespace’s effort to continually add products, accessories and life-changing adaptability to its offering.
Safespaces equipment is designed for adults and children who may be unsafe in an ordinary room or bed. Typically it supplies products for people with special, sometimes very complex needs including autism, epilepsy and behaviours that challenge.
Safespaces says it works closely with parents, carers, occupational therapists and other professionals, as well as architects and design engineers to develop its products to ensure they are right for the person using them.
