New business launches hooded towel designed specifically for wheelchair users

Newly formed company MOXSE has released a handmade adapted hooded tower designed specifically for wheelchair users.

The firm, started by Rosie and Isla during lockdown, has developed two hooded towels that are both made entirely out of organic cotton, down to the threads and labels.

The business was formed from the idea to provide sustainable adventure gear that makes it easier for more people to get into adventure sports.

The WAVES towel is an adapted hooded towel designed specifically for wheelchair users aimed at ensuring ease of use.

One tester said: “I went surfing today and used it! It was so easy to put on and I felt so comfortable that I drove home in it. It’s so easy to chuck on after a shower, or first thing in the morning, or after a surf, or any time.”

The MOUNTAINS towel was designed for all and has a wide neck and large hood to accommodate all head size and hair volumes, the dimensions of the towel are made for ‘one size fits all’, although the firm says it can adapt the dimensions of the towel if needed.

MOXSE says it is an adventure brand striving to be sustainable, inclusive and ethical.
