Two new powerchair demonstrations are on the cards for Motus Medical next month when it will officially unveil two new models.
The Puma 40 Sedeo Ergo is a front-wheel-drive base powerchair with comfortable and clinically sound Sedeo Ergo seating. The new Advanced Sedeo Ergo Seating System is able to support highly complex seating and positioning needs.
Meanwhile, the chair will allow users to operate household appliances such as phones, computers and home entertainment systems from the comfort of the chair with a choice of control options, including: R-Net Advanced Joystick, 5-Switch Box, Infrared, Bluetooth, iDrive an Quickie Assignable Buttons.
A new Redline version of the Quickie Salsa M2 will also be debuted at the show.
Claiming to be the world’s narrowest mid-wheel-drive performance powerchair, the Redline combines powerful six mph, four-pole motors with a super-slim, 52cm wide base.
An ultra-small turning circle of just 110cm aims to provide easy access to narrow indoor spaces, including home lifts and Wheelchair Adapted Vehicles (WAVs).
Much like the new Puma 40 Sedeo Ergo, the Redline also features home-control functionality through the LCD Advanced Joystick that incorporates Infrared, Bluetooth and iDevice technology.
