Modern Mobility has expanded its presence in the north of England with the addition of a third store.
The mobility retailer, which already operates shops in Blackburn (main image) and Leicester, has now opened in Clitheroe, Lancashire.
The location will allow local residents to choose from a range of mobility equipment and gain access to the Motability scheme for mobility scooters and powered wheelchairs.
Ben Charlesworth, owner of Modern Mobility, which opened its first store in 1997, said the firm is excited about what the future holds.
“We are delighted to finally open in Clitheroe and bring Motability to Ribble Valley residents,” he told the Lancashire Telegraph.
“When you become a customer of Modern Mobility you become part of the family. We are looking forward to welcoming many more members in the Ribble Valley.”
To mark the opening of the shop, Modern Mobility is offering a free health check on all mobility equipment to ensure users are ready as lockdown restrictions ease.
The Clitheroe store is wheelchair-friendly and offers free parking, including disabled spaces.
