Online mobility dealer MobiQuip, which launched recently, has boosted its initial growth prospects by introducing a new click and collect service.
The service, which is unique for an online-only dealer, has reportedly been received well by customers who are able to receive products more quickly.
It also means customers can try out their order for suitability and receive advice before taking the product home.
The service is designed to give the customer confidence in how to use and maintain their product and will be able to collect it from the firm’s premises in Melton Mowbray.
MobiQuip’s new service is part of its strategy to differentiate itself from other online retail models in the sector which are sometimes seen as ‘box-shifters’ by traditional dealers.
The service works by customers ordering their product on MobiQuip’s website and pre-arranging a pick-up appointment where they can test it for suitability.
A full refund is available instantly for those customers who change their mind after testing.

For all click and collect appointments, customers will be required to produce their proof of purchase and a form of identification and call in advance to arrange an appointment.
