Mobility dealers and distributors are readying themselves for one of the industry’s most visited events, which this year will run alongside a specialist dementia care expo.

Free to attend, Naidex returns to Birmingham’s NEC on 22 and 26 April and will act as a concentrated marketplace connecting dealers, wholesalers, distributors and suppliers with hundreds of end-users and 300 exhibitors.

Mobility professionals can also benefit from 200 expert-led seminars from the likes of Invacare, the BHTA, BBC, IBM and Santander, who will all aim to provide a comprehensive overview of the disability sector, as well as insight into the trends of tomorrow.

This year will see the introduction of new features including the Home, Design & Build Summit, which promises world-class speakers and exhibitors provide an exploration of accessibility in the built environment.

The Moving & Handling Lab is another brand new feature which will provide healthcare professionals and carers with two full days of interactive training, to ensure the safest and most dignified support and transportation of people with disabilities and special needs.

For the first time ever, Naidex will run alongside the Dementia Care and Nursing Home Expo, the only exhibition in the UK that focuses on business growth whilst also improving the care of residents.

Show organisers said: “Naidex promises to be the most exciting and progressive event of the year – combining exciting interactive features, incredible networking opportunities, captivating demonstrations, seminars, panel debates, masterclasses and 1-2-1 advice.”
