Mobility dealers passing by Karma’s stand at Naidex this week may have seen a new face exhibiting alongside general manager Mark Duffield.
Eric van Olst, Karma’s new chief of product innovations, attended the show where he met with a number of current and potential equipment dealers and discussed the manufacturer’s portfolio.
Karma’s team showcased its best examples of lightweight manual wheelchairs and powerchairs and retailers were able to quiz van Olst on his role at the supplier and its product plans moving forward.
Duffield said: “Having Eric with us was great and I know visitors to our stand – especially retailers – welcomed the opportunity to discuss Karma’s plans for 2019.
“This, combined with the positive response all our products received from end-users, retailers and healthcare professionals, made it a very worthwhile event for us.”
Karma’s stand featured a range of its flagship equipment, including the VIP2 and E-Flexx, which is one of the lightest foldable powerchairs on the market.
This year, van Olst hopes to redouble development in Karma’s powered portfolio and told AMP that he wants to help design products that work for European markets.
