Mobility retailer opens first store with sole focus on beds and chairs

Recliner chairs

Scottish mobility retailer Mobility Matters has opened a new store focused only on reclining chairs and adjustable beds.

The branch in Kilmarnock – where it already has a store – is branded Robert’s Recliners.

It is the firm’s fifth outlet in Ayrshire, where it has been trading for more than two decades.

The company says that the opening of the specialist store will allow it to give customers a personalised service and help them choose the most appropriate equipment.

Specialist staff will be on hand to talk customers through the different pieces available and answer any questions.

Owner Robert Frew told the Daily Record that its experience in the sector would ensure customers are provided with all the information they need to make the right decision.

“We’re a family-run business, and have been providing quality products at affordable prices to the people of Ayrshire. We’re also Ayrshire’s largest independent stockist of scooters, furniture and daily living aids, and our staff are knowledgeable and friendly.”

The interior of the store has been designed to make customers feel at ease when browsing the shop.
