Go Kids Go is giving children the chance to learn wheelchair skills through games, sport and dance.

The charity is doing so through a series of courses it runs up and down the UK.

A report from Edinburgh Live explains how TV presenter Ade Adepitanis is said to have learnt his wheelchair ability with the charity.

The same report goes on to detail how parents and siblings of young wheelchair-users are also encouraged to join in with learning practical wheelchair skills and to take part in games and challenges.

Extra wheelchairs are provided at the sessions but organisers do ask for families to provide their own food.

The free workshop is open to young people aged two upwards.

This week at CES, Segway’s prototype was involved in a wheelchair crash.
