Mobility battery specialist Easystart has been named as an official supplier to the Hampson Foundation.
The Hampson Foundation is a registered charity that inspires and supports young people who have been seriously injured through sport.
The charity was established by Matt Hampson OBE who became paralysed following an accident while playing rugby union with the under 21 squad.
Easystart MD Cillian Brugha (pictured) told AMP: “As a company and on a personal level outside of work, we’ve known Matt and his wider family for many years, since before his accident in 2005. Many of those who now work at and run the Matt Hampson Foundation we know from outside of the business, so it’s the perfect fit for us on many levels.
“The main thing is that we are in a position to support the Foundation in all the amazing work they do to assist their beneficiaries. They are a great group of people doing amazing work for people who have had terrible accidents and the MHF provide a fantastic platform for the beneficiaries and their families.
“As Easystart we have supplied batteries to Matt for his chair over the years and supported the Foundation by going to some of their charity events, etc. We also have another connection given Matt’s links to Leicester Tigers and those at Easystart who follow rugby are Tigers supporters, including a few season ticket holders.”
