Mobility dealer Millercare is gearing up its business for Black Friday, which takes place this week and is expected to deliver record sales across online stores.
The retailer is promoting “big discounts” on hundreds of products, from scooters and walking aids to wheelchairs and living aids, throughout the event.
Millercare has previously confirmed its commitment to its customer base as the UK headed into the second national lockdown of 2020.
The company explained its will to keep customers and those in need both mobile and independent throughout lockdown, which runs to December 2, and beyond.
“We’d like to say thank you to our customers for shopping at Millercare Mobility Specialists and our employees who are all doing their very best to keep all our customers mobile to maintain their independence at all times,” the company said in its newsletter.
The virtual high street has already gone into overdrive this year, with online sales up 58% in the second week of November compared with the same period last year, according to IMRG.
And with online being the only place for retailers to conduct business during lockdown, it predicts that sales during Black Friday week, taking place from today until Friday, will be between 35% and 45% higher than in 2019.
