Millbrook Healthcare has launched a recruitment drive to help deliver care technology services across Essex.

The news follows the company’s recent contract win to provide technology-enabled care (TEC) services on behalf of Essex County Council.

Millbrook Healthcare is recruiting for a range of roles, including warehouse, installation and management staff, for its new service centre in Chelmsford.

The company will deliver telecare devices, assistive technology and remote monitoring solutions to help user remain safe, comfortable and independent in their homes.

It will partner with Provide CIC and work alongside Essex Fire & Rescue and Uttlesford District Council to deploy, install, maintain, decommission and remove technology to meet service users’ care needs.

Commenting on the contract win, Lee Davies, commercial director for Millbrook Healthcare, said: “We are delighted to work with Essex County Council and Provide CIC in the provision of technology services. This working partnership will deliver huge value to the county and the community it serves and is completely aligned to Millbrook Healthcare’s commitment to develop technology based solutions that enable and support independent living.”

Millbrook Healthcare works in partnership with the NHS to supply the necessary equipment and aids, to support people in their day-to-day lives.

The team assesses service users’ care technology needs and manages the installations, maintenance and ongoing review of the technology equipment.
