Medstrom adds manufacturing to portfolio as it unveils new brand identity


Specialist beds and surfaces supplier Medstrom has now added manufacturing to its portfolio, as the company introduces an overhaul of its brand identity.

The company, which has already begun manufacturing the Medstrom Solo bedframe itself, said it made the decision due to the uncertainty caused by Brexit and its effect on supply chains.

As for its new brand identity, Medstrom said that feedback from both internal staff and customers has helped to reimagine its company image.

It has also invested in a more evidence-based approach to its products.

This has involved the appointment of a dedicated clinical director, who Medstrom said is currently studying for a masters degree in clinical research.

It also revealed its investment in an educational facility which addresses the main challenges facing the healthcare sector.

Rachel Apsey, Medstrom commercial director, added: “This is an exciting time for Medstrom, especially seeing how much we have grown over the last 10 years.

“We have matured as a business and can now complement our close working relationships with manufacturers across Europe and the US with our own range of branded beds and mattresses.

“This not only benefits our customers in the UK and Ireland, but also outlines our promise for our international Distributors, as we continue to develop and innovate new solutions for improved patient outcomes”.
