Medequip has outlined its exhibition plans for the forthcoming Great Yorkshire Show, one of the biggest agricultural events in England.
The provider of community equipment services will use the event, taking place from July 13-16, to spread the word about how to access support and equipment, as well as the importance of returning equipment when they have finished with it.
“They can help the NHS by making sure it’s returned to Medequip where it will be checked, cleaned and issued to someone else who may need it,” the company said.
The Medequip team will give out information packs and details on how to return community equipment after use, and anybody with items to return enter a draw to win a £100 Manage At Home voucher.
For those who use walking sticks, Medequip is also running a free service to check the ferrule, and replace it for free if it’s worn or damaged, as part of its commitment to falls prevention.
