Medequip’s mobility equipment retail arm, Manage At Home, has overhauled its online platform to make the experience quicker, easier and more pleasant for end-users.
Manage At Home’s new online offering has been developed around making product identification fast, easy and accurate, with features designed specifically to help users navigate and browse products matching their needs.
Built to display correctly on mobile, tablet and desktop devices, the website features a completely redefined hierarchy, which users can now browse either by need or by locations within the home.
A notable part of the new website is Manage At Home’s special collections. These currently include dementia friendly, bariatric and telecare selections, with plans in place to further develop these collections as a result of user research and product availability.
If customers prefer to select by manufacturer, they can use the individual brand listings available.
The new product pages include high quality equipment images viewable in a light box overlay for added definition, with the ability to select and view colour choices and print specifications.
Manage At Home has also included intuitive searching with search term suggestions relating to keywords.
The website now features a prominent Live Chat option as well as a Self Help Guide, designed to help users find solutions to specific issues.
Accessibility has been improved too, with a clear accessibility widget allowing users to enlarge the cursor, adjust contrast, enlarge text, highlight links and read out the page.
