Handicare’s managing director Clare Brophy and some of the supplier’s champion dealers, including Essington Mobility and Dolphin Lifts Midlands, take centre stage on this month’s edition of AMP. The stairlift manufacturer is keen to communicate to dealers that its direct sales arm, Companion, is not there to snatch business, but the company as a whole is there to help retailers get the most out of the expanding stairlift market.

Cumbria Mobility is May’s star dealer and bosses Stephen Cornwell and Steve Wright explain how the company has overcome all the challenges of operating a rural business to become a premier mobility provider in the North West. The pair also reveal how the business has managed to compete without trading online.

Meanwhile, Power specialist Permobil lays out its plans to repeat its massive success in European and US markets in the UK mobility industry. Managing director Gordon Cunningham explains the role that UK dealers will have to play in the company’s British expansion and outlines how they will be able to benefit from its new products.
