A specialist mobility equipment showroom has been praised and awarded for its exceptional customer service.
Optimum Mobility in Malmesbury was commended at the Motability Dealership awards in the small fleet dealership category.
It was praised in particular for the way in which it approached and sold specialist mobility equipment such as scooters, powerchairs and wheelchairs to disabled customers.
Owner Andrew Taylor told the Gazette and Herald: “We won an award through the Motability scheme which is run nationwide and they are red hot on customer service, as it is what drives them, so to be given a commendation as a small business in this sector and to score 9.7/10 is amazing.
“Motability have just been down here to give us the award and they took us out for a nice meal. The two chaps were quite bemused about how we manage to run the business in such a rural area though.”
Tim Newbery, manufacturer and dealer services director of Motability Operations Ltd, was quoted by the newspaper as saying: “Delivering exceptional service to our customers is one of the key objectives of the Motability powered wheelchair and scooter scheme. We have made a number of enhancements and improvements to the service our customers enjoy, and it is fantastic to see Optimum Mobility continuing to support our commitment to excellence. Congratulations on the highly commended award.”
