Loopwheels, which is an innovation designed to reduce vibration for wheelchair users, has launched a new ‘try before you buy’ scheme alongside a payment plan designed to encourage more users to the product.

The scheme, which is available to users in the UK, enables people to test the wheels for two weeks for just £20 with no obligation.

Loopwheels also published evidence from testing which showed the innovation reduces vibration in wheelchairs by up to 70% compared to a standard spoked wheel.

The Clinical Indications document it published is designed to help healthcare professionals and wheelchair users easily assess whether to choose Loopwheels as a part of their equipment needs.

Gemma Pearce, managing director, said that customers told the firm that they wanted to know Loopwheels were right for them before committing to a purchase.

She said: “By publishing the testing, developing clinical indications and launching a ‘try before you buy’ scheme in the UK, we are helping more of the right people to benefit from these amazing wheels.

“Many people are unaware of how debilitating exposure to vibration can be, particularly causing lower back pain and creating fatigue quickly.

“It prevents people doing everything that they are capable of. Loopwheels can play an important role in helping people manage their lives with less pain and long term damage.”
