Cheshire-based accessibility equipment firm Terry Lifts has achieved new certification demonstrating its compliance to ISO management system standards.

The lift manufacturer has met the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems (QMS), ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System (EMS) and ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS).

Its management system has been approved by external UKAS-accredited certification body, Alcumus ISOQAR.

The scope of registration identifies Terry Lifts as providing design, development, manufacture, supply, installation, service and repair of domestic, industrial and public access lifting products.

Tim Barrow, director of operations, said: “We pride ourselves on maintaining high standards and in renewing our ISO management certification we have once again proven our commitment to quality.

“We believe that as the country navigates a way out of the pandemic and stands independent of the EU, consumers and specifiers will increasingly seek British manufacturers with proven products and service. These standards give our customers added confidence and provide our company with a competitive edge.”

Terry Lifts was formed in 1948 and provides a wide range of home lifts, platform lifts and step lifts.
