Lewis Reed lifts the hood on new innovations


Lewis Reed will be lifting the hood on some of its most recent innovations at Naidex this week.

The accessible vehicle firm will be showcasing several examples from its range of Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles including the Mercedes-Benz V-Class, the VW Caravelle Exec, the SEAT Alhambra and the VW Caddy Maxi Exec.

The Mercedes-Benz V-Class provides is designed to offer sophistication, safety and performance with its style, comfort and standard features including privacy glass, alloy wheels, and chrome trim elements on both the Sport and AMG models.

Exterior styling aims to be “powerful and dynamic”, with the front section designed to give the V-Class a unique on-road presence whilst inside, the emphasis is on luxury and versatility with a spacious cabin.

To make journeys and access as effortless and relaxing as possible, the V-Class features a rear tail lift and electric sliding doors fitted on both sides, while the large automatic powered tailgate opens to enable a remote controlled rear tail lift or rear ramp with lowering suspension (XL only) to aid the wheelchair user’s entry into the vehicle. A side lift is also available.
