Invacare has unveiled its new Esprit Action, a fully evolved and highly advanced power wheelchair.

Based on the popular Action 4 Esprit, the new model has been engineered to offer even greater technical precision.

Invacare carried out an extensive customer-led design programme before creating a high-performance new wheelchair that is designed with integrated, high specification powered wheels on a highly configurable and customisable aluminium chassis.

The Esprit Action includes new Gyro technology. This technology allows for a reduction in the size of the wheelbase and ensures indoor and outdoor performance exceeds expectations.

The integrated Gyro gives a smooth and extremely stable drive experience with exceptional stability on inclines up to 6°.

Comfort and support have also been enhanced with new 14-inch pneumatic wheels.

Graham Silverthorn, powered mobility product manager at Invacare, said: “With the new Gyro technology the Esprit Action drive performance is greatly enhanced, its shorter wheelbase allows for improved agility in tight indoor environments.

“A focus on aesthetics, wider configurability combined with many options and accessories really sets the Esprit Action apart from the rest.”
