Invacare revamps powerchair line with over 100 colour combinations

Invacare has introduced a series of new features and colour options for its TDX range.

The range of chairs offered by the supplier to the UK market now sport a single-sided fork option and over 100 colour combinations to make a chair more unique.

The TDX SP2 is one of Invacare’s power chair options, sporting SureStep suspension that allows the user to scale slopes and bumps with comfort and ease, coupled with a system called StabilityLock, the user is able to cover uneven ground without fear of the chair feeling unstable.

It also boasts a system to raise and or tilt the seat so the user can sit normally in all situations. Its 112cm turning cycle, given the size of the chair also helps to make it a power chair for independent users.

Following the success of the TDX SP2, Invacare have opted now to relaunch the chair with a few key changes; a single sided fork option on the front and rear castors providing a more slimline powerbase, as well as the introduction of more customisations to the chairs’ colour scheme.

Customers now have a choice of 10 contemporary shroud and rim colour options, including Island Blue, Rockstar Red, Grape Jelly Bean and Monster Green.

This VAT exempt chair starts retailing for around £4,700 and has a weight starting at 138kg.
