Invacare awards Alber e-pilot electric hand bike to competition winner

After a showcase at Naidex in Birmingham earlier this year, Invacare launched a competition to win an Alber e-pilot electric hand bike.

The e-pilot, designed by a market leader in power add on drives, has the power to transform a manual wheelchair into a sports-style vehicle.

It has a range of features including a range of up to 50km, an easyNavi wheelchair friendly navigation system, and cruise control.

Following the competition, Rachel Broxton was chosen at random as the winner, and visited the factory to collect her prize.

She said: “This fabulous prize has given me life, I am going to be able to go out and access so many new places I would not have even been able to before due to my own capabilities of power and strength that’s needed every day.”
