Medtrade West, one of the largest trade shows in the US, will return this year, attracting hundreds of providers and suppliers from the home medical equipment (HME) sector.
The conference programme will focus on business operations, including hiring and training; executive leadership and planning; laws affecting the HME industry; how to manage a profitable retail business; and sales and marketing.
The event will also give suppliers and opportunity to showcase their products to owners, sales managers and other decision makers from HME providers, distributors, pharmacies and home health agencies.
Tom Ryan, president and CEO of the American Association for Homecare, said: “Though [the coronavirus pandemic], the HME community has been at the front lines of the pandemic, and I’m incredibly proud of the contributions we’ve made to protecting vulnerable patient populations and lessening the incredible stresses on hospitals and clinicians.
“While the impacts of the coronavirus will continue to be widely felt throughout 2021, I am cheered by the enthusiasm and sense-of-anticipation that is coursing through our industry as we begin to return to normal. And I’m especially excited by the prospect of seeing the great people of this industry in person again at Medtrade West in July.”
The event is scheduled for July 12-14, 2021 in Phoenix, Arizona.
