Glasgow nightclub hosts event for adults with learning disabilities

Under One Roof

A Glasgow nightclub is hosting a clubbing experience for adults with learning disabilities.

‘Under One Roof’ will take place at SWG3 on September 18, and is the second of its kind following the success a similar event earlier this year.

The event aims to give party seekers a place to make friends and enjoy a night out in a fully inclusive and safe environment.

Alice Woods, the event’s founder, said: “For many the lack of physical access to clubs or overwhelming new environments, and in some cases verbal abuse, means that there is a whole portion of society who are currently missing out on what Glasgow does best – music.

“SWG3 is renowned for its incredible parties and this will hopefully be a night to remember for a lot of people who might have never been clubbing before.”

Under One Roof was originally established by Woods in 2017, aiming to open up dancefloors across the country.
