How long have you worked for your current employer and how did you get into the industry?
Six years. I have always been involved in export sales due to my interest in languages and business.
What do you most enjoy about working in the industry?
The personal relationships with our European distributors. It is very rewarding to meet people from so many different places and cultures. It is great to have the opportunity to travel all over Europe and of course enjoy the local gastronomy.
What’s your biggest achievement in the industry to date?
Substantially increasing international sales for Electric Mobility during my first year of employment and to keep growing the department consistently over the years.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Avoid rushing to a solution without first understanding the cause of the problem and to always take some time to think about the options, whether it is work or personal.
Which other company (inside or outside the industry) do you most admire and why?
I admire Zara as it has become one of the leading fashion brands in the world and is now exporting to almost every country globally having started as a small company in the north of Spain.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Spending time with my family and friends and with my French bulldog, Leo, as well as travelling, cinema and sports.
If you could invite any four people (dead or alive) to a dinner party, who would they be?
Rafa Nadal, Salvador Dali, Amy Winehouse and Jack Nicholson.
Tell us something about yourself that none of your colleagues know?
I am starting salsa dancing lessons.

My three year old boy asking me recently: “mummy are you kidding me?
