How long have you worked for your current employer and how did you get into the industry?
I have worked at TGA for four years. I was the quality manager at Bencraft before this and originally started my career in the car industry where I was a quality inspector for Jaguar.
What do you most enjoy about working in the industry?
Making a genuine difference to peoples’ lives.
Which other company (inside or outside the industry) do you most admire and why?
Karma – They have an excellent reputation for quality products and service.
What’s the first thing you do when you get into work in the morning?
I set up my laptop, check my emails and make a cuppa.
What’s your biggest achievement in the industry to date?
Currently introducing the new WHILL powerchair from TGA.
What was the last thing that made you laugh out loud?
A comment made at an inopportune moment during church Mass.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Continuing to restore my 1967 Triumph Vittesse car.
If you could invite any four people (dead or alive) to a dinner party, who would they be?
Jesus Christ, Martin Luther King, Adolf Hitler and Billy Connolly.
Tell us something about yourself that none of your colleagues know?
I have ‘shot’ a joke foam arrow at one of Prince Charles’ bodyguards when visiting the Jaguar Assembly line.

I always recommend: “never listen to advice”.
