Renowned occupational therapists Kate Sheehan and mobility innovator Paula Massey have been confirmed as the first two keynote speakers for the 2019 AMP Awards, in association with Mark Bates Ltd.
The AMP Awards take place on Monday 21 October in London and will see the UK’s top mobility retailers all gather under one roof.
Beginning at 2pm with networking, the event will host three keynotes, starting with Kate Sheehan, who is renowned in the industry and the healthcare circuit. She is regarded by some as the top OT in the country.
Her consultancy company, The OT Service, provides mobility companies with invaluable advice from the perspective of an OT on how they can operate more effectively and grow sales.
Paula Massey, founder of UMT Upcycling and Mobility Training, will also be delivering a valuable keynote at the event. She is a key innovator in the industry and an expert in mobility scooter safety.
Her efforts to improve scooter safety and cut down on equipment waste have been gathering momentum in recent months as she drives for change in the mobility industry.
The final keynote speaker is yet to be revealed.
The keynotes will be followed by a dealer panel discussion, which will include a number of hand-picked, top dealers, who will discuss topical industry issues.
Towards the end of the event, the awards winners will be revealed in a ceremony celebrating the very best in mobility retail.
