Etac R82 has partnered with equipment charity, Newlife, to help more children with disabilities and terminal illness to receive life-changing specialist products when they are in crisis.
Newlife is Etac’s first official charity partner of the year and the company will fundraise for the charity’s Equipment Crisis Appeal.
R82 is a longstanding supplier of specialist seating, standing and walking aids for Newlife grants, as well as buggies for the charity’s Emergency Equipment Loan Service, which the only UK scheme of its kind.
Staff at R82 UK have been tasked with coming up with fundraising ideas with every penny raised used to provide emergency equipment – such as buggies, seating and specialist beds – so more children can be helped when their situation is critical.
Neil Preston, head of fundraising for Newlife, said: “We are really excited to work with R82. We see first-hand their commitment to providing quality equipment set up to a child’s specific needs and we know they will bring this same commitment and passion to helping us raise funds for children and families in crisis.”
