East Anglia-based retailer Beactive Mobility is the first distributor in the country to buy in Freerider’s latest mobility scooter, which it won’t launch officially until Trade Days next week.
The Motability-accredited dealer has shops in Lowestoft, Great Yarmouth, Norwich and Diss and has a strong relationship with the scooter supplier, whose new Mayfair 4 Deluxe is targeting a niche market.
The Mayfair 4 Deluxe is aimed at users wanting a comfortable, reliable and durable long-range pavement scooter.
It features a metallic tungsten grey colour, similar to Freerider’s FR1, which aims to give it a fresh look. Meanwhile, the standard fit 50ah batteries afford the Mayfair Deluxe an ‘exceptional range for a pavement scooter’, the company claims.
The comfortable captain’s seat, along with the full suspension is designed to offer a quality ride and sits well between the Standard Mayfair and the Mayfair 8 Deluxe, both in performance and pricing, Freerider says.
Shaun Green, Motability manager for Beactive, said: “We are proud to be the first company to have this new release ahead of the Trade Days unveiling. And it cements the ongoing relationship we have with Freerider, innovating and raising the standards of what’s expected from a dealer and a manufacturer.
Meanwhile, Rick Aldridge, regional sales manager for Freerider, explained that it is pleased with the dealership for being keen to be the first business to take advantage of the new scooter.
He said: “As a key Motability dealer across the East Coast, Beactive has a strong reputation for high levels of service. We work hard to back this up with the best products along with the best service and aftercare available, so Shaun and the team can rely on Freerider to help maintain and develop their business.”
The Mayfair 4 Deluxe is available to view and demo at the Trade Days show this year on the Freerider stand, along with the full range of other models, and will be available to supply on the Motability scheme from the beginning of October.
